4/27/09 - My summers are way too busy.

Here is an average day for me.

-Wake up around 7:00.
-Get myself ready (sometimes I have to get Makenna ready and drop her off with my mom or cristi's aunt), including a shower and breakfast, plus pack my lunch.
-30 minutes or so commute to work to hopefully be there by 9:00.
-work until around 5:00 (later depending on when I got to work that morning), which includes me wearing multiple hats and working through my lunch break.
-30 minute drive back home
-typically load up the trailer and go mow 2-3 lawns
-if I'm not mowing, I probably have a softball game (sometimes I will mow and have a softball game)
-come home and try to spend a minute or two with Makenna and the wife before it is time to put Makenna to bed which includes at a minimum a bath and story time.
-eat dinner (hopefully I've eaten lunch and snack since breakfast, but not always)
-work out (I have recently started p90x again, have I mentioned that I love the stupid thing?) for about an hour
-wind down while playing video games for a while
-manage to get myself in bed before 1 or 2 in the morning.

I'm working on getting up a little bit earlier because I'm going to need to start getting off earlier. This current schedule leaves very little time for running errands and just generally getting stuff done. I really, really need to clean up the office as there are papers and boxes all over the place, but I just don't have the time, and when I do have the time, I don't have the energy.

I've got all sorts of ideas for future blog posts, including several that are going to include pictures from when I was younger, as well as several readers of the website, they should be fun, if I could just get them scanned and uploaded.
